Job Summary
Assist with NIH-funded research grants to study various aspects of centriole/centrosome duplication and function in relation to inherited disease and cancer cell biology.
Essential Job Duties
  • Carry out molecular experiments to build and express recombinant DNAs and study their functions in eukaryotic cells.
  • Maintain stocks of Drosophila melanogaster.
  • Maintain tissue culture systems.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and some experience working with recombinant DNA.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Some experience working with proteins and blotting approaches is desirable but not essential.
  • Some experience of tissue culture is desirable but not essential.
