What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking an Graduate Program Coordinator within the Computer Science Department at the School of Engineering and Computer Science. 

A Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year of relevant work experience is required. A Master’s Degree and three years of relevant work experience is preferred. 

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

• Work with current graduate students: 
  • Manage and advise students on courses, registration, and progress towards graduation 
  • Manage graduate student payroll (budgets, labor distributions, work with ECS business manager) 
  • Enter petitions for students Submit forms for degree completion Send reminders of important deadlines 
  • Manage student resources (lab space, computer assignments) 
• Faculty support:
  • Take meeting minutes 
  • Send reminders of important deadlines 
  • Manage curricular and catalog updates 
  • Administrative support for grants that support graduate students 
• Interface with Baylor’s graduate school 
• Attend and participate in New Grad Student Orientation Prospective graduate students
• Track applications 
• Respond to queries from prospective students and Baylor's Graduate School 
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support the mission of Baylor University 
• Comply with University policies
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
