The Ohio State Center for Real Estate is a university-wide Center housed at Fisher College of Business. The goal of the Center is to positively impact the
livability of our communities through educating the next generation of real-estate leaders. We do this by attracting civic-minded students and developing their
knowledge and passion for real estate by combining top-level education, collaboration with industry and public leaders, and supporting cutting-edge research.
The primary objectives of the Center are: strengthening our partnerships with real estate industry and across campus to enhance the interdisciplinary nature of our Center; providing students with a multi-disciplinary experiential learning opportunities and facilitate their engagement with industry professionals;
creating new knowledge while providing expert analysis through academic and applied research in all aspects of real estate.
The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of the Center and is responsible for developing its vision and strategy,
securing funding, and ensuring effective operations. Additionally, the Director is tasked with raising the visibility and prominence of the Center through
visionary and strategic leadership; growing the Ohio State real estate program by increasing the number of Advisory Board members, student interest, and the
number of alumni, friends, and corporate partners engaged in the Center's activities; partnering with the Academic Director in establishing a reputation of
being a thought leader for the real estate industry through forums, research, and workshops; raising funds to support the vision and mission of the Center;
fostering industry and academic relationships that place the Center and university real estate programs in the highest regard; building a national network of
OSU alumni working in the real estate industry; maintaining and building relationships with local, state, and nationally significant professional associations;
advising program development, and identifying market opportunities for Center offerings.
Minimum Education Required:
Master's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 10 years of experience in the real estate industry; strong
interpersonal and written communication skills; demonstrated public speaking skills; ability to work with faculty, staff, students, and external organizations of
diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds; excellent leadership skills; ability to work independently and to delegate; ability to
prioritize and manage multiple projects and stakeholders; ability to maintain a professional demeanor and uphold confidentiality

The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
