Faculty position to teach on the Spartanburg and/or Greenville campus.
The Department of Informatics and Engineering Systems at the University of South Carolina Upstate invites applications for a non-tenure track, 9-month Instructor of Industrial Engineering with a start date of August 16, 2025. The selected candidate will teach a wide variety of industrial engineering courses with possible teaching load reallocations for activities related to recruitment, outreach, and program development. The selected candidate will also be responsible for advising students and evaluating new student applications/transcripts, as well as serving on university committees and actively supporting unit initiatives. The department seeks a dynamic, motivated individual dedicated to excellence in teaching and student success.

Required Education and Experience
Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field is required by the start date of the appointment. A successful background check is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching at the undergraduate level, including adjunct teaching or graduate assistantships, is preferred.
