Position Details
General Statement | The Montana Medical Laboratory Science (MMLS) Professional Program, housed within the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at Montana State University, was developed in 2008 and is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS). The program has been highly successful and has helped to alleviate the critical need for medical laboratory scientists in the state of Montana, especially in rural communities. Each year the program accepts approximately 18 students from Montana State University, the University of Montana, and Montana State University-Billings. In addition, it is affiliated with major hospitals and 26 rural hospitals throughout Montana where students participate in clinical laboratory training. |
