Job Description Summary
Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for coordinating and managing the clinical education portion of the Radiography Program. This position will serve as the clinical staff as a liaison between students, clinical instructors, the Program Manager and the Associate Dean for all issues pertaining to management of the clinical education portion of the program. Performs related work as directed.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree as required by accrediting agency (JRCERT).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum Experience/Training:
- Six years of related experience.
Minimum Certification/Licenses:
- Registered by ARRT, Registered as a state of Florida Radiographer, CPR
- Appropriate credential(s) specific to the concentrations offered.
Essential Functions:
- Daily - 65%: Teaches specific clinical education at the affiliate hospitals classes as assigned by the Program Manager in conjunction with the Associate Dean.
- Weekly -3%: Coordinates clinical education with didactic education as assigned by the Program Manager.
- Daily -10%: Evaluates effectiveness of clinical education experiences.
- Daily - 5%: Provides academic information and guidance of programs to current and prospective students. Offers advisement to all current students regarding continuing enrollment in the program.
- As Needed - 2%: Establishes effective communication with counseling, registration, learning resources, advisory committees, external agencies, high schools and other colleges for purposes of dissemination of information.
- As Needed -5%: Coordinates, updates and submits accurate student records, inventory, textbook orders, course syllabi, catalog materials and other information upon the request of the Program Manager and/or the Associate Dean.
- As Needed -2%: Coordinates with the Program Manager to prepare and implement class scheduling, registration processes and administrative operations, and to evaluate/revise curriculum.
- Daily -5%: Oversees general operation of clinical site and lab facility at Broward College including its distance learning equipment, its cleanliness, safety, and regular maintenance requirements such as equipment calibration.
- Daily -3%: Performs related duties as assigned.

- Ability to communicate and negotiate professionally and effectively as a collaborator, decision-maker, and problem-solver with a comprehensive knowledge in the field of higher education.
