You will work closely with faculty across diverse departments to address their affiliation agreement needs, ensuring compliance with University policies, regulations, and legal requirements while applying your expertise in policy interpretation and agreement administration. Duties & Responsibilities

Contract Administration and Negotiation:

  • Process, draft, and negotiate a range of student experience agreements, starting with clinical rotations, student teaching field placements, student led consulting, and much more. May be assigned sponsored research agreements from time to time.
  • Collaborate with the Provost's Office, Office of General Counsel, Tech Launch Arizona, and other university administrative/compliance offices as needed.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Maintain and update a database and agreement respository to track the status of agreements and amendments.

Policy Development and Guidance:

  • Assist in the formulation of guidelines, procedures, and the development of templates and tools for student experience agreements.
  • Provide interpretation and guidance on university policies and procedures to academic departments.
  • Interpret and apply regulations and guidelines to ensure proper administration and university compliance with agreement terms.

Knowledge and Professional Development:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current developments in policies, laws, regulations, and best practices related to student experience agreements.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to departmental knowledge sharing and training.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.

  • Strong Interpersonal and Collaborative Abilities: Skilled in interacting effectively with a wide range of individuals and groups, demonstrating a collaborative approach.
  • Advanced Organizational and Prioritization Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, even under tight or conflicting timelines.
  • Judicious Decision-Making: Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed decisions in complex situations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, J.D., or other advanced degree.
  • Affiliation or sponsored research agreement experience, university academic affairs or research administration experience.
  • Certified Research Administrator Certification (CRA) or equivalent certification; or experience in business administration, contracting/subcontracting, or legal office.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
