Posting Summary
The Rutgers School of Nursing is seeking a College to Career Instructor.

A College to Career Instructor is responsible for guiding students in the principles and best practices of transitioning from college to their careers. This role involves educating students on the job search process, informing students of the various opportunities, and educating students on special transition programs with partner agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
Educate Students on the Job Search Process
  • Design, develop, and deliver instructional materials to be delivered inside and outside of formal courses on the process and skills necessary in the job search process
  • Develop and implement 5-7 hands-on training exercises for students

Inform Students of Various College to Career Opportunities
  • Through seminars, workshops, and programs, inform students of various job opportunities based on relationship building with clinical agencies

Educate Students on Special Transition Programs with Partner Agencies
  • Design formal seminars and informational sessions to educate students on special partnerships with partner agencies
  • Educate students on methods and skills necessary for them to be successful in their transition process related to those programs

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Canvas
  • Experience with student affairs, student development preferred

Current RN/NJ Nursing License (as appropriate)
