Minimum Position Qualifications | Bachelor degree in higher education, college student personnel, counseling, social sciences, humanities or relevant field. Two years of experience in higher education, university career services, human resources/corporate recruitment, business, public relations or a related field. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time. |

Work Schedule | Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. May need to work beyond normal work schedule during peak times. |

Additional Position Information | The Career Readiness Specialist activates and advances a career ecosystem at the University of Memphis by developing and implementing programs, systems, and initiatives designed to teach students the life-long continuous process of career and professional development. The Specialist serves as the point of contact for a specific area of expertise (Tiger Talent Community) and works collaboratively to empower students in their career journey. This position is grant funded and contingent upon funding availability. |

Duties & Responsibilities | Serve as a direct liaison to students, faculty, and staff and collaboratively cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to develop industry and employment specific events and workshops that facilitate student learning, skills/career competencies development, and networking opportunities for students; Serve as the primary career services liaison for administrators, faculty and staff in specific academic disciplines for the exchange of information and referrals for career opportunities for students. |
