Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | The ESSIC department is looking to fill a Business Manager positions within our CISESS Business Office for Award account management. The Business Manager is responsible for assisting the Assistant Directors of Finance with day to day operations of the CISESS federally sponsored awards financial activities, proposal preparation, and administrative support. The Business Manager will work as a liaison to the management of the ESSIC Business Office, funding agencies, Partners outside of the University as well as the units throughout campus, including the Office of Research Administration. This position’s primary responsibility is to provide ESSIC’s research scientist with CISESS task awards with full accounting/financial support. This includes, but is not limited to:

Minimum Qualifications: | Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for a degree (i.e. at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative support role responsible for some financial processing, analyzing data, processing travel and procurement). Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in financial management. |
