Position Highlights The Athletics Department is dedicated to excellence in collegiate sports, building a modern model of intercollegiate athletics fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and student-athlete success.

The principal objective of this position is to assist with the annual giving program and internal operational needs of the Development staff. The primary focus will be on benefit fulfillment and customer service. This includes all parking benefits and overseeing the Wildcat Club’s benefit program. The position will be an integral part of the Wildcat Club staff and helping to maintain and grow current Wildcat Club membership.

This position requires the ability work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Parking: coordinate with Parking and Transportation in regard to all things Arizona Athletics parking, be responsible for game day parking and distributing parking benefits to Wildcat Club members.
  • Overseeing the Ballena selection process for both Football and Men’s & Women’s Basketball parking
  • Benefits: oversee and manage the Wildcat Club benefits program, including car decal, luggage tag, specialty item, Dunlap Stadium Club access and all other benefits. Assist the ticket office and marketing teams with mobile ticketing.
  • Acknowledgements: fulfill all acknowledgments for philanthropic and capital campaign donations.  This includes the creation and delivery of emails, letters and postcards.
  • Eloqua Mass Communication for Wildcat Club & A Club: Creating and distributing mass emails for both the Wildcat Club and the A-Club. Examples include, large scale solicitations, A-Club monthly newsletters, event invites, parking updates etc.
  • Donor Recognition: coordinate donor recognition and ensure that recognition is fulfilled.  This includes donor recognition in game day programs, video boards, etc. (excludes major gift capital/naming recognition).
  • Donor acquisition and retention. Regular phone calls and communication to renew and solicit new donors.
  • Tax Receipting & Amortization: serve as the liaison to the University of Arizona Foundation gift processing team to assist with tax receipts and benefit amortization processes.
  • Coordination of Donor Trips, work in connection with development lead to plan coordinate and execute annual donor trips for football and basketball.
  • Weekend and Evening Work: weekend and evening work is required. In addition, football game and men’s basketball game attendance is part of the job responsibilities.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in Paciolan and other CRM systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
  • Three years of experience working in NCAA athletics development and/or ticket office.
