Position title: Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician
Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $180,100- $240,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Position description
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery within the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (http://ortho.ucsd.edu/ ) and the Rady Children’s Hospital of San Diego (www.rchsd.org ) are committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body are jointly recruiting for a highly qualified Pediatric Physiatrists.
Responsibilities will include patient care, teaching, and research at Rady Children’s Hospital and satellite clinics.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Candidates must have an MD or equivalent, DO, or MD/PhD, in health-related fields.
Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency training program in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
Candidates must have or be eligible for certification by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
