Description of Work Unit
The Arts Management program at Colorado State University offers a Master of Arts Leadership and Cultural Management degree and certificate. The program provides learners with the skills needed to work in all sectors of the creative economy including in for-profit, nonprofit, and government establishments.

Position Summary
The Arts Management program may seek adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses in arts management. Applicants are added to the pool list throughout the calendar year. Hiring decisions are made during the late spring and early summer for fall semester, during the early fall semester for spring, and during the spring semester for the summer term.

Required Job Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in the arts or arts management/administration.
  • Five or more years of experience working for an arts organization (for-profit or nonprofit) or in an artistic discipline.
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in the arts or arts management/administration, or one of the following fields with a focus on the arts – community development, nonprofit administration, entrepreneurship, marketing, public policy, law, or urban planning.
  • Five or more years of experience working for an arts organization (for-profit or nonprofit) or in an artistic discipline.
  • A demonstrated history of successful online instruction.
