The University of Virginia's College at Wise invites applications for a Student Account Representative in the Cashier's Office.  This position will be responsible for the receipt of payments to student accounts to include tuition, fees, room and meals; the receipt of College departmental deposits; assisting students, parents, faculty, staff and the community with payments and purchase of meal plans, etc.; daily settlement of cash work; the preparation of refund checks for students; payment plans; and other daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly duties as assigned. 

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field is preferred.  Candidates must have experience working with Excel and Outlook; be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment; pay close attention to detail; have excellent problem-solving skills; be a self-starter; and be highly motivated.
