The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an individual for the role of Administrative Coordinator.
Primary duties will include support of multiple divisions comprised of up to 15 clinicians, serve as the point of contact for clinical credentialing of all clinicians in OBGYN, engage with Faculty Affairs with respect to letters/appointments, provide finance functions with respect to expense reports and invoicing outreach sites, and support the Department's School of Medicine web page.
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in working both independently and within a collaborative team environment as well as
problem solving skills. Experience in academic medicine is preferred.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is actively engaged in all UVA Health missions including excellence in clinical, education, research and community. Members of the Department will engage directly and with colleagues across all missions.
This position will be in-person on UVA Grounds in the city of Charlottesville for a period of time during training. The Department offers hybrid in-person and remote work schedules upon approval by the manager in alignment with UVA Health Telework policies.
Intermediate Administrative Coordinators perform operational support for a composite of several functions They are distinguished from Administrative Coordinator by increased complexity of work, level of supervision received, and degree of autonomy. At the Intermediate level, they work independently and participate in the planning and execution of departmental policies and procedures and serve as subject matters experts for administrative functions.
Pay Range: $50,000 - $54,000
- Support multiple divisions in the Department including creation and maintenance of schedules in the online platform QGenda.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for clinicians in assigned divisions
- Serve as primary point of contact for all recruitment efforts in assigned divisions and provide backup to Department colleagues who support other divisions.
- Serve as the primary Department contact for processing of expense reports via Workday Finance
- Serve as primary Department contact for clinical credentialing with UVA Health, its affiliate organizations, and non-UVA entities for all clinicians in the Department.
- Serve as primary point of contact for the School of Medicine Faculty Affairs team in ensuring all Department clinicians have appropriate letters, appointments, and faculty actions routed and on file
- Engage with outreach sites in preparation of invoices
- Support OBGYN SOM website including updates to clinician profiles and other information
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: At least four years experience
Licensure: None
