Emory University is a leading research university that fosters excellence and attracts world-class talent to innovate today and prepare leaders for the future. We welcome candidates who can contribute to the excellence of our academic community.
Emory Brain Health Center and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences are seeking a faculty psychologist to join their Adult Outpatient Active Engagement team, which provides interdisciplinary team-based care to individuals with primarily anxiety and depression-related concerns. The candidate would provide therapeutic assessments as well as evidence-based individual, group, and couples/family therapy within the Adult Outpatient Clinic. We welcome candidates representing a range of modalities and theoretical orientations, and hope to hire a colleague whose interests and strengths are complementary within the team.
A priority hiring area for this 1.00 FTE Clinical position includes part-time involvement with the CARES clinic, which is an access intervention that provides therapeutic assessments and time-limited behavioral interventions to individuals and families across the lifespan who are experiencing anxiety and O-C spectrum symptoms. Interest and experience providing evidence-based time-limited treatments, providing responsive care that reduces barriers to mental healthcare, and program development/research in related areas would be ideal for this position and would be helpful for candidates to delineate in application materials.
This position not only offers competitive compensation but also comprehensive benefits and numerous opportunities for professional growth and development. Join us in making a difference in patients' lives through team-based care and increasing access to prevention-oriented evidence-based therapies in Georgia. Apply now to be part of our team!
