Job Summary
Adjunct
faculty members facilitate students' achievement of course objectives and
prepare students to matriculate through the programs at the undergraduate and
graduate level. Prepare and submit syllabi, grades, and other required
documentation in a timely manner.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
Two years post master's degree experience.
Ability to teach effectively (both online and in traditional settings) at the university level in an undergraduate and graduate Social Work program.
Uphold the mission and values of the School of Social Work.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of the Social Work Code of Ethics.
- Knowledge of Social Work Professional and Technical Standards.
- Ability to develop educational presentations on select topics.
- Ability to work as a part of a team.
Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
- License as an LCSW
- Teaching, mentoring, and service experience at the university level.
- Experience with online course delivery and instruction.
- Experience with Canvas and ZOOM technology.
