Position Summary Information


Job Description Summary:
• Collaborate with AAP Assistant Director and Co-Peer Counselors to plan AAP Program activities.
• Welcome incoming students and their families, addressing questions and concerns.
• Talk with incoming students individually throughout Orientation weekend to ensure they feel included. comfortable, and supported.
• Facilitate programming.
• Facilitate connections among students.
• Monitor student progress and well-being and notify the AAP Assistant Director of student
concerns as soon as possible.
• Conduct check-in meetings with students and make brief records of topics addressed and student progress.

• Record of reliable participation in CASA.
• Conscientiousness.
• Knowledge of Villanova resources.
• Capacity to lead.
• Ability to address conflicts calmly.
• Creativity in program development as well as problem solving.
• Willingness to collaborate closely with peers and staff.
• Willingness to work closely with AAP students and give attention to their well-being.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience as a mentor and/or group leader.
• Expertise in time management.
Physical Demands Summary:
Wage Rate: $11.25 per hour
