Full-Time Visiting Instructor of Chemistry (One-Year)
Alvernia University is inviting applications for a full-time Visiting Instructor position in Chemistry for the 2025-2026 academic year, beginning in August 2025. Candidates with interest and experience in biochemistry are encouraged to apply. Any experience related to microbiology would be advantageous. Responsibilities will be in General Chemistry, Biochemistry and may include lectures and laboratories with a teaching load of 12 credits per semester. A Master’s degree or higher in chemistry/biochemistry or a related field combined with substantial professional experience will be considered. Successful completion of satisfactory background checks is required. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
