About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join a busy, dynamic Technical Team

As a senior member of the Environment Technical Team you will transfer practical knowledge to students, including delivering practical tutoring sessions, demonstrating equipment and techniques and providing support, supervision and guidance. Provide technical support and guidance to academic colleagues in laboratories, workshops and wider estate to allow top-level support for relevant research projects in the area of novel agri-tech production practices. Be a positive role model and manage, coach and / or mentor more junior members of the Technical Team. Actively keep up to date with relevant discipline knowledge, trends and technology, and apply this to practices. Identify appropriate learning opportunities for themselves and others. Build a network of internal and external contacts that help the Team deliver a high quality, industry-relevant service.
