Do you want to join a Digital Services team with ambitions to improve, innovate and become sector leading? Come work with us!

We’re looking for skilled individuals with proven experience in a variety of modern technologies.

"Delivering the Digital University" is our strapline. These are not just words but reflect our ambition to enhance the digital experience for every single one of our staff and students. Digital; simple, seamless and engaging.

Our diverse, focused and professional team would welcome anyone who wants to positively contribute and help us deliver on future projects. It will be challenging but rewarding and we will make sure there are opportunities to develop both your technical and non-technical skills and your career. It's important to us. Outside of our business we are also keen to engage in a charitable way with our local community and look for ways in which we can make that possible.

This post is seeking somebody with significant skills and experience in current networking and associated technologies using modern management tools such as those from Cisco, Microsoft and other equivalents. Capabilities around the maintenance of apps and services reliant on networks, such as e-mail, VoIP and a variety of server and endpoint software and hardware are also being sought.

The Senior Service Delivery Engineer role is based within our Digital Operations team, which is responsible for the operational delivery and support of IT services. Engineers are an escalation point for Service Delivery Analysts and work in collaboration with Digital Architecture on the operational delivery of designs/strategies as efficient and effective technical solutions. Engineers are key to the on-going maintenance of business-critical IT systems and strive for continuous improvement, providing feedback to influence technological advancements in collaboration with Architects and key service owners.

There will be opportunities to work on complex problems and form part of multidisciplinary teams on projects both large and small, so professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills are a must.

We are looking for an individual that is not only enthusiastic and passionate about the technology but understands and cares about our customers too. You will be driven to seek new solutions and be part of our continuous service improvement.

With 30 days annual leave entitlement at starting (pro rata to start date) and a flexible approach to work, plus the opportunity for fun along the way. Sound like a place you would like to be? Please do get in contact for an informal chat with Alex Herron (Digital Operations Manager) on 01902 32 3262 and take your next career leap by submitting an application.
