This is an exciting opportunity to lead and engage in applied research opportunities within the South Yorkshire region. This will allow you to not only research and deliver innovation in real-world settings, but it will also help facilitate colleagues in providing innovations and supporting students in that process.
The department
The
School of Computing and Digital Technologiesis a large and vibrant school engaged in taught programs, research and innovation, and knowledge exchange. All our UG and PG programs are underpinned by project-based learning, which facilitates embedding industry experience across all the programs. The school is home to the multi-disciplinary team that composes the Smart Interactive Technologies lab, which focuses on innovative research and developments investigating all the aspects of modelling and applying physical and intelligent systems, which coexist harmoniously.
You will be contractually enrolled into the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
