(Senior) Laboratory Research Scientist

Location: London, ENGLAND

We are seeking to appoint a laboratory scientist with a background in cell biology and/or molecular biology to join the lymphoedema research group. You will be responsible for assisting the group leaders with their new MRC/BHF-funded programme grant by overseeing lab management. We hope to recruit a colleague who will thrive as part of a multi-disciplinary group and who will work collaboratively to deliver the experimental aspects of the project.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

  • Understanding of molecular biology and molecular genetics
  • Direct practical experience with cell culture and in vitro studies
  • Competent use of nucleic acid and protein techniques
  • Experience with lab management and co-ordination of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of preparing and presenting data for publication and dissemination
