We are seeking to appoint a laboratory scientist with a background in cell biology and/or molecular biology to join the lymphoedema research group. You will be responsible for assisting the group leaders with their new MRC/BHF-funded programme grant by overseeing lab management. We hope to recruit a colleague who will thrive as part of a multi-disciplinary group and who will work collaboratively to deliver the experimental aspects of the project.
Key attributes of the successful applicant include:
- Understanding of molecular biology and molecular genetics
- Direct practical experience with cell culture and in vitro studies
- Competent use of nucleic acid and protein techniques
- Experience with lab management and co-ordination of multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
- Capable of preparing and presenting data for publication and dissemination
