Position Overview:

Alvernia University’s Occupational Therapy Department invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position to teach in our Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in courses related to occupational therapy, fostering student engagement, and contributing to the academic mission of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned courses in the MSOT program, including preparation and delivery of lectures, development of course materials, and assessment of student performance.
• Support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with full-time faculty to ensure alignment with program goals and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Doctoral degree preferred but not required. 
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).
• Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred, but not required
• Commitment to student success and the mission of a Franciscan institution.
