We are looking for an experienced university level teacher to not only deliver high quality teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate engineering degree programmes, but to create and lead the “with placement” year component, working with students prior, during and post placement. You will build and engage with a network of leading engineering employers and deliver knowledge, training and pastoral support to students to ensure we can deliver work-based learning, real-world student projects and positive graduate outcomes
You should apply if you have a well-evidenced track record of teaching engineering students at university, ideally those on accredited programmes, and have evidence of developing, maintaining and maximising industry networks through for example securing, managing and delivering funded initiatives to promote collaboration.

We currently comprise over 70 research staff and over 100 research students working together across nuclear, chemical, robotics & control, electronics and materials engineering subject areas to foster innovation and meet the global challenges of our times.
