The Department of Humanities has recently expanded its undergraduate International Relations offer to include Post Graduate awards. We are looking to appoint six full-time fixed term Lecturers in International Relations to contribute to the provision of high-quality teaching, course development and the enhancement of academic performance, student attainment and satisfaction.

We welcome applications from people with a strong background in international relations who have experience of teaching international students, managing modules and supervising post graduate dissertations.  Our PG award runs across the year with intakes in September, January and May, so the successful candidates will need to be flexible in their working patterns.  Candidates should also have subject expertise in at least one of the following areas of specialism:

  • South Asian and Indian politics
  • Sub-Saharan region
  • Foreign policy analysis
  • Quantitative and mixed methods of analysis
