About us
The Faculty of Social Sciences and Public Policy is seeking to recruit a Global Partnerships & Student Recruitment Manager. This is an 18-month FTC role that will provide a leading role supporting the delivery of international student recruitment and marketing activities for the faculty.
The Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy at King’s is one of the largest UK university communities for social research and education. The faculty has a number of strategically important projects underway which are closely aligned with the broader King’s Vision 2029 agenda.
SSPP embraces equality, diversity and inclusion. We attract students and staff from across the world, from many different backgrounds, with a variety of ethnicities, religions, and sexual and gender identities. We promote flexible working as a key enabler of inclusion. We particularly encourage and welcome applications from women, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates, and from candidates who are LGBTQ+ and/or have a disability.
About the role
We are looking for a Global Partnerships & Student Recruitment Manager to implement the faculty’s student recruitment strategy, while ensuring a data-driven approach to optimising international student recruitment for SSPP.
This role will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive international student recruitment plans for SSPP across multiple regions, across all levels of study, collaborating with the Global Student Recruitment & Admissions team.
Responsibilities will include conducting market analysis to assess key market trends, current demand, and identify unrealised market demand and build knowledge on the cost-effectiveness of different international initiatives. The role will represent SSPP at relevant recruitment and marketing events and will be responsible for developing, updating and delivering country/region-tailored presentations designed to effectively engage diverse audiences.
The role will represent the faculty at selected recruitment events and fairs and also work with the faculty colleagues to engage with and capitalise upon alumni and engagement activities.
This is a hybrid working role, where the role holder will spend part of their working week on campus and part of the week remotely. It is a full-time post (35 hours per week), being offered as an 18-month fixed-term contract in the first instance. The post-holder will be expected to occasionally work outside normal working hours and undertake some of their work outside of the UK.
