Join us on our journey to shape the future of education! Our Academic Collaboration Team is looking for a committed and capable Education Services Officer to make a real impact.
About the team:
Our team oversees quality assurance for collaborative provision, academic partnerships, and apprenticeships. We work closely with the Academy and Professional Services to deliver key quality processes, including:
- Approval and ongoing review of collaborative partners
- Management of programme approval, review, and amendment procedures for collaborative and apprenticeship provision
- Approval and review of articulations and off-site delivery arrangements

- Ensuring that the requirements of external quality and standards bodies such as the Office for Students and Ofsted are addressed.
About the Role:
You will support various partnership activities, with a focus on apprenticeships.
As an Education Services Officer you will:
- Provide high-level administrative support across the Academic Collaboration Team.
- Be responsible for the management of administrative systems, in addition to the dissemination of information to support the development and management of the University's partnership activity.
- Be required to make use of a range of qualitative and quantitative data to inform the development and/or review of programmes delivered through an academic collaboration partnership.
- Provide a significant contribution to the development and implementation of the University's policies, systems, and procedures to enhance the quality of the student learning experience and maintain academic standards in line with external body requirements.
- Work independently to manage multiple, complex projects from start to finish.
- Support cross-functional activities and contribute to key events like graduation, enrolment, and clearing.
You will work closely with academic and professional colleagues, especially in the Apprenticeships Unit, to ensure compliance with the relevant University's policies and procedures through the provision of authoritative advice, guidance, and administrative support.
About you:
We are seeking an individual who:
- Demonstrates a strong interest in, and broad understanding of, key issues within Higher Education—particularly in relation to apprenticeship provision.
- Is able to manage multiple projects effectively, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Has proven experience in coordinating and supporting a diverse range of meetings and events.
- Can communicate complex information clearly and confidently to a wide range of stakeholders, using various formats and channels.
- Adapts well to changing priorities, showing flexibility and responsiveness in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Can represent the team and the University in a positive and professional manner when engaging with external partners and regulatory bodies.
