Comprising the largest dental school in Europe, the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences (FoDOCS) at King’s College London is a centre of excellence in the UK for oral, craniofacial and dental research and ranks 5th in the world (1st in the UK) in the QS World University Rankings for Dentistry (2023). The faculty is one of the top centres of excellence in the world for dental education, research and, through its Dental Institute partners, oral healthcare provision.
The successful post holder will work with professional service, academic, researchers and post-graduate research (PGR) students across the faculty.
About the role
The Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences is looking to recruit a Centre Administrator within the Business Operations Team.
The role will be based within the Centre for Craniofacial & Regenerative Biology and will support the successful operation of the Centre by providing an efficient and effective administrative service to the Centre Lead and to academic staff within the Centre more broadly, so as to help them fulfil their organisational, academic and professional roles.
The successful candidate must be capable of working autonomously and liaising directly with internal and external colleagues in an independent manner, the post holder will use their initiative, discretion, knowledge and experience to help plan, manage and coordinate the work of the Centre; including undertaking routine financial operations, assisting with the management of Centre space and facilities and administering HR-related processes.
This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract until 31st March 2026.
