As the Assistant Director for Financial Planning and Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy. Reporting directly to the Finance, Estates and Commercial Services Director, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver insightful financial planning, accurate reporting, and proactive business partnering across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and delivery of robust financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Overseeing the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports to support strategic decision-making and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Building and maintaining strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to provide expert financial advice and drive performance improvements.
• Driving efficiency and value for money through innovative financial solutions and data-driven insights.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About you

We are seeking an ambitious and accomplished financial leader with a passion for collaboration and strategic impact. You will bring:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) and significant post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience in financial planning, reporting, and business partnering in a complex organisation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities to inspire and develop your team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building successful stakeholder relationships.

This is a full-time, permanent post.
