Accommodation Revenue and Sales Manager

We have a very exciting opportunity to join our Residential Services team as the Accommodation Revenue and Sales Manager. You will be joining our award-winning team to manage student recruitment, sales and marketing in relation to the Universities accommodation. In the past decade, we have invested £250 million into our accommodation portfolio which comprises of 7 halls of residences with over 4,300 students living with us.

Your main duties will be to: -

  • Manage the end-to-end process for applying for accommodation within the University and preferred PBSAs including student projections and nomination arrangements.
  • Marketing of the Universities halls of residence including Open Days, ADDs and various international cohorts.
  • The set up and operation of an annual call centre during clearing to respond to student enquiries and ensuring that university accommodation and nomination arrangements are fully allocated.
  • The process for student arrivals into university accommodation.
  • Annual recruitment of Residential Advisors who provide the Residences pastoral service and student recruitment in relation to student recruitment events.

With a proven track record of successful marketing and sales in relation to university accommodation and or private sector student accommodation. You will manage the Accommodation Team Leader who in turn manages the Accommodation Officers who provide a variety of student services. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Student Experience Manager to have a whole student accommodation approach from application to move in and their respective teams to support students throughout their accommodation journey.

You will be adaptable and flexible in your approach to leadership and management having ample experience of student accommodation services and budget management including income planning. You will demonstrate excellent skills to provide a variety of accurate data including student projection numbers working closely with the Universities Student Recruitment team and achieving income targets in plan and be able to plan and effectively manage voids and summer school activities. You should have a HNC or Degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience).

This is a permanent full-time post, 35 hours per week. Working arrangements to be discussed at interview.
