The Chair for Energy and Public Economics at the Department of Management, Technology and Economics, ETH Zürich, is offering a postdoctoral position for 2-3 years starting Fall 2025.
Job description
The postdoc is expected to do research in topics at the intersection of applied econometrics and energy/environmental economics and policy as well as behavioural economics. The research can be oriented towards industrialized, or developing countries. The postdoc is expected to participate in research projects at the Chair, as well as in teaching at ETH.
Profile
Applicants should have a PhD in Economics (or expected soon) and a strong interest in energy economics, environmental economics, behavioural economics, and applied econometrics, and optionally in development economics. They should be interested in empirical research in economics, and they should be self-motivated, have critical thinking skills, and have the ability to work independently.
