Associate Researcher at the Department of Diagnostic Radiology (PA2025/1071)

Description of the workplace
The work will take place within the framework of the activities in the Magnetic Resonance Physics group. The group is interdisciplinary and includes members active in various faculties, companies, and the healthcare sector.

Job duties and responsibilities
The tasks will include the development of software for data analysis, as well as experimental work with our new MRI scanner. The work will be carried out in collaboration with colleagues in the Magnetic Resonance Physics research group.
As a result of the work, we expect scientific publications.

Qualifications
The required qualifications for the position are:

• A completed MSc in a relevant field for the job tasks.
• Experience with diffusion MRI using free waveforms.
• Experience with experimental work using MRI scanners.
• Extensive experience with advanced diffusion-weighted MRI.
• Strong experience in programming software for scientific image analysis.
• Proficiency in writing scientific reports.

Additional qualifications that are considered advantageous:

• A completed PhD in a relevant field.
• Experience in the relevant research area.

Additional information
The position is a SÄVA (Special fixed-term employment) at 100 % for one year.
The desired start date is June 1, 2025, or as agreed.
