- Unit or service: Research group in genetics and control of diabetes and endocrine diseases.

Eligibility criteria
- Training and experience in Bioinformatics (0-5)
- Demonstrable experience in the following technologies: Massive Sequencing (NGS of both panels and WES), library preparation, use of Ion Torrent NGS platforms, genotyping, CGH array, fragment analysis, digital PCR, Sanger Sequencing, Q-PCR, and MLPA, applied to Endocrine diseases (0-30).
- Demonstrable experience in gene variant analysis. Use of bioinformatics tools for analysis and prediction of biological significance of these variants applied to endocrine diseases (0-15).
- Knowledge of bioinformatics oriented to genomic analysis (0-2.5)
- Training and certification in genetics/genomics oriented to clinical diagnostics (0-6)
- Leadership of research projects as Principal Investigator (0-6)
- Demonstrable experience in writing scientific articles, preparing reports, conducting systematic reviews and evaluations of the international scientific literature, publishing results in scientific journals and presenting at national and international congresses. Demonstrable experience in proposal writing, collaboration and management of research projects (0-10).
- Demonstrable experience in research in Molecular Biology and/or genetics and handling of techniques such as: genomic DNA and RNA extraction, conventional PCR, real time PCR, FISH, Bioanalyzer, SNP arrays (0-6).
- Computer tools: Sequencing Analisis, GeneMapper, SeqScape, GenMap Agilent's Feature extraction V12.0, Cytogenomics 3.0, Torrent Suite, Ion Reporter, Quantum Soft, IGV software (0-6)
- Office automation: Proficient in Microsoft Office(Excel, PowerPoint, Word....), PDF, Web tools(Ensemble, BLAST, DGV, ISCA, DECIPHER, HGMD) Sequence olignment (Clustalw), in silico predictors (Varsom, SIFT, PolyPhen, Mutation Taster.....etc (0-8)
- Ability to work in a team, good organizational skills, initiative and problem-solving skills (0-5)
- Disability certificate minimum 33% (0-0.5)
