Job title: TWIN NAVAUX
Research line / Scientific-technical services: Digital Twins
This contract is called under the EDINAF project in which the University of A Coruña participates. The object of this contract is the collaboration in the research activities that are carried out within EDINAF in the WP 8. The requirements to be fulfilled by the contracted person are described below.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1.- All applicants must comply with the following requirements within the application submission period and maintain them during the term of the contract:
a) Have Spanish nationality or any other nationality to which State regulations attribute equal rights for employment purposes in the Public Administration.
b) Have the required degree and meet the other requirements indicated in the call. c) Have reached sixteen years of age and not have exceeded, where appropriate, the maximum age for compulsory retirement. d) Possess the necessary functional capacity to perform the corresponding functions or tasks described in the report.
e) Not having separated the applicant by means of a disciplinary file from the service of any Public Administration or the constitutional or statutory bodies of the Autonomous Communities, nor being in a situation of absolute or special disqualification for public employment or office by court order, to access body or scale of public official or to perform functions similar to those he performed, in which said person has been separated or disqualified. In the case of being a national of another State, it will be required that the applicant is not disqualified or in an equivalent situation, nor has he been subject to a disciplinary or equivalent sanction that prevents, in his State, in the same terms, access to public employment. .
2.- The hiring of foreigners from non-EU countries, which will be formalized for the sole purpose of carrying out research or technical tasks, will require the presentation, at the time of signing the contract, of the residence and work authorization for someone else. or accreditation of the concurrence of cause of exception of said authorization, in accordance with Organic Law 4/2000, of January 11, on the rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain, and their social integration and applicable regulatory provisions.
TASKS TO BE SUPPORTED AND PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT
The main tasks of the contractor will be related to the following areas:
1) Analysis, design and implementation of naval systems
2) Development of applications oriented to the digital twin of the product
3) Field tests in the shipyard.

SELECTION CRITERIA
It will be valued positively to have completed a master's degree / software courses related to simulation, programming languages.
Likewise, previous experience in the following points will be valued positively:
- Knowledge of SIEMENS tools for the development of numerical models and digital twins (AMESIM). - Other types of tools related to the implementation of numerical models (Matlab, Matlab Simulink) and their integration standards (FMU, FMI formats), as well as other programming tools (Python, C++, Visual Basic).
- Naval architecture tools (Bentley Maxsurf, NAPA, Foran, etc.) and ship behavior (Octopus Office or similar). The merits claimed by the participants will have to be documented and fulfilled by the end of the application submission period. Only the merits related to the profile of the position will be valued. The position will be vacated if no candidate reaches a minimum of 30 points according to the following scale.
o Degree required.
The average grade of the degree required to opt for the position will be evaluated, up to 5 points (e.g. average grade of the degree or master's degree studied).
Average academic record grade: 10 ---- 5 points
Average academic record grade: 9 ---- 4 points
Average academic record grade: 8 ---- 3 points
Average academic record grade: 7 ---- 2 points
Average academic record grade: 6 ---- 1 point.
If the degree provided belongs to the field of Naval and Ocean Engineering, it will be fully valued. If it belongs to any other field, it will be valued with 5% of the qualification obtained according to its average grade.
o Additional specific training related to the specific profile to which it is presented up to 10 points.
Master's degrees and courses related to the profile of the position: 1 point for every 100 hours, up to 5 points.
Level C1 of English, 5 points.
o Specific experience (previous positions, R&D projects, etc.) related to the specific profile for which it is applied: 30 points.
Previous experience in mixed research units formed by companies and research organizations: 1 point per month worked up to a maximum of 10 points.
Experience in previous positions related to the object of the contract: 5 points per year up to 10 points.
Previous experience in the development of R&D projects in the field covered by the contract: 5 points per European project, 4 national and 3 regional (up to 10 points).
o Experience in scientific publications and research production related to the object of the contract up to 30 points.
Only published articles related to the subject of the position that are published in JCR journals will be valued (5 points per article Q1, 4 per Q2, 2 per Q3 and 1 per Q4).
o Personal interview: the adequacy of the curriculum vitae to the job position will be assessed. Up to 25 points. The candidates with the highest score in the previous items who have obtained, at least, 60 points (only the first three candidates) will be interviewed. The non-presentation of the interview will be cause for exclusion of the summoned candidate. Candidates will be called for the interview at least 48 hours in advance.
o The waiting list will be fullfill with those candidates that achieve 60 points or more.
