Place/unit of assignement:

The Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT) is a CERCA center, accredited as a Health Research Institute by the ISCIII, it carries out biomedical and hospital research and innovation aimed at generating value by promoting social and economic growth . At I3PT, our commitment to ethics, transparency and research excellence is endorsed by the HRS4R seal. This recognition certifies our optimal working conditions, promoting equal opportunities, professional development and an inclusive and quality research environment. The candidate will join the Infections and Immunology Area of ​​the Institute, functionally dependent on the Critical Care Area of ​​the CCSPT. The selected person will be linked to the translational research group in the critical patient (Group A8G3) of the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT), to develop a research project that proposes the clinical validation of a medical device that electrically stimulates the respiratory muscles in a non-invasive way, by carrying out 2 clinical trials. The candidate will support the research team, participating in the tasks of including patients, collecting clinical data, analyzing results and collaborating in the writing of scientific publications.

Functions to develop:

 - Patient inclusion in clinical trials. 

- Execution of the research protocol. 

- Collection of clinical data. 

- Analysis of results. 

- Collaboration in the writing of derivative scientific publications.
