Offer Description
- The project involves developing functional nanostructured electrocatalysts for water electrolysis to produce green hydrogen, some of the research activities can be seen in a recent account article: https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.accounts.3c00709
- The focus of the project will be the design, synthesis, and advanced characterization of novel materials, and the investigation of their electrocatalytic activities for HER or OER
- Investigation of catalysts under operando conditions using advanced spectroscopic techniques.

Requirements
Specific Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science, obtained within the last four years.
- Strong knowledge of nanostructured material synthesis and hands-on experience with electrocatalysis and electrochemical measurement techniques.
- Experience in single-atom catalysis, operando electrochemical Raman microscopy, and synchrotron-based X-ray absorption spectroscopy are advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork skills and strong communication abilities in English.
