The Foundation is calling for applications, on a competitive basis and in compliance with the principles of publicity, equality, merit and capacity in the selection process, for a temporary job position linked to funding granted in the personnel section, for a research project, in the categories of full-time Senior Technician with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics and/or Health Sciences (the latter must have a university postgraduate degree in Big Data or a related degree) for the IMPACTT2D project "A genomic strategy to implement precision medicine in diabetes".

Specific Requirements
  • Carry out the economic analysis of the IMPACTT2D project, including the analysis of resource use and direct healthcare costs of the project cohort.
  • Contribute to request new research projects, continuation of the IMPACTT2D project.
  • Development of active projects of the Canary Islands Health Service Evaluation Service (SESCS) of real-world data or RWD: structural and functional analysis of the databases used in the projects; data analysis and extraction; development and execution of algorithms and mathematical models; literature review and report writing.
  • Disseminate the results of the projects in scientific communications (i.e., scientific articles, communications to congresses, meetings, encounters and scientific conferences, social networks and other digital media, etc.).
  • Contribute to intra- and extramural training on the management of large databases and real world data for health technology assessment (HTA) and health services research (HSR).
  • Participation in health technology assessment reports. 
  • Participation in the preparation of scientific articles for the IMPACTT2D project and other associated projects.
