Offer Description

The Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Bioengineering Group of CIEMAT, integrated in the Health Technology and Innovation Area of the Health Research Institute of the Jiménez Díaz Foundation, whose Principal Investigator is Dr. Fernando Larcher, is seeking candidates to apply for a 6-month Predoctoral Research Contract. The candidate will carry out experimentation in the area of regenerative medicine for the disease Epidermolysis Bullosa. 

 

Specifically, the study of the activity of GPCR receptor agonist aptamers within the framework of the project “Towards a better understanding of the biological bases of EB and the development of modifying and curative therapies for the management of serious cutaneous consequences” and funding from a donation from DEBRA Spain.

a) Bachelor degree in biomedical sciences

b) Master’s degree in biomedical sciences 

c) Not being in possession of any doctorate degree issued by a Spanish or foreign university.

Requirements that can be assessed for the position. 

• Experience in the use of aptamers in skin diseases models will be valued 

• Experience in teaching and scientific dissemination 

• Completion of stays in national/international centers. 

• Participation in research projects 

• Authorship in scientific publications and conferences
