Skills/Qualifications

In support of the institute's legal counsel, he/she will perform the following functions:
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and collaboration agreements (Spanish and English);
- Resolving legal queries of the institute;
- Issuance of legal reports, protocols of action, etc.;
- Monitoring and compliance of the institute;
-Organisation, implementation and maintenance of the institute's legal documentation filing system;
- Support to other departments in all legal matters;

 

Specific Requirements

1.Be a Spanish national, a national of a member country of the European Union or a foreigner with a residence and work permit in Spain.
2. Hold at least a FPII Degree in Administration and Finance and/or a Graduate or Bachelor's Degree in Law or a double degree in Business Administration and Law.
The minimum requirements must be accredited with valid certificates in law, including all those that demonstrate the aforementioned professional experience, in line with the functions to be performed and the assessment criteria.
In the case of qualifications obtained abroad, their homologation must necessarily be accredited.
The conclusion of the contract is subject to the availability of the project's budget and to the successful candidate's compliance with the requirements of current employment legislation. In the event of non-compliance with the requirements, the Selection Board will decide whether to leave the call vacant or to contact the next candidate in order of score.

Benefits

- Type of contract:
Indefinite-term contract, scientific-technical activities (art 23. Bis of law 14/2011 LCTI).
Full time: 35 hours.
- Financial remuneration:
1,726.26 euros gross per month including the proportional part of two extraordinary payments.
- Research project:
Active PMP21 Projects, External Clinical Unit.
- Work centre:
Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de Salamanca.

Eligibility criteria

1. Curricular assessment of merits and abilities (0-50 points)
Training and/or demonstrable knowledge of legislation in the following areas:
(a) Demonstrable work experience of at least 2 years in a similar position, preferably in the biomedical, pharmaceutical, or research sector (0-10).
b) Biomedical research (law of Science, law on biomedical research, regulations on clinical trials and observational studies, etc.) (0-10).
c) Administrative contracting: Training and experience in the application of Law 9/2017 on Public Sector Contracts, Law 38/2003, of 17 November, General Law on Subsidies and Law 40/2015, of 1 October, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector (0-5).

(d) Protection of personal data (0-5)
(e) Intellectual property (0-5)
(f) Artificial intelligence (0-5)
(g) English, minimum level B2 (0-8)
(h) Disability certificate (0-2 points)

Selection process

The selection process will be governedbytheprinciplesofpublicity,equality,meritandcapacity,andaselectionbodywill be set up forthispurpose,madeupofrepresentativesoftheresearchgroup and oftheTechnicalManagementUnit of the IBSAL.
The selection process will consist of two phases:
1. Analysis and curricular assessment phaseofalltheapplicationsreceived,classifyingthemonthebasisofthebestadaptation of theCurriculumVitaetotheestablishedprofileandcompliancewiththerequirements.
2. Personal interview: at least the three candidateswiththehighestscoreinPhase1willbecalled,providedthatthescore in Phase 1exceedshalfplusone,theSelectionBoardmaycallmorecandidates for aninterview.TheSelectionBoardmayproposethatthecallforapplicationsbedeclaredvoid if no candidate issuitable for thepost.
