The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineeri​ng and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in Prof Zhao’s group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on the development of new synthetic approaches for porous materials-coated bacteria.

  • Perform detailed structural characterizations of obtained systems using experimental and theoretical methods.

  • Evaluate the performance of these systems as catalysts.

  • Contributes to the preparation of publications and patents.

  • Present research results precisely and professionally.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD degree in Chemistry or a related field (or equivalent)

  • Strong research background in chemistry synthesis, materials preparation, and characterization.

  • Ability to analyze experimental data and write scientific papers.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiative.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in performing synthesis and characterization experiments.
