Offer Description

The candidate should meet the conditions set forth in the Law of July 20, 2018. - Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e., Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571 hereinafter the Law). Working conditions and salary according to the applicable Law.

Requirements: 

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) obtained in Automation and Robotics or related field, in the discipline of  automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technology,
  • Predisposition to scientific work documented by scientific publications or activity in the student scientific  movement, covering topics:
  • Bayesian statistics, with a particular focus on Gaussian processes,
  • Diagnostics and fault detection in electrical and acoustic signals, with a special emphasis on industrial process diagnostics,
  • Spatial modeling and environmental data analysis,
  • Development of advanced modeling and diagnostic methods in automation and robotics,
  • Modeling the state of Li-Ion batteries.
  • Predisposition for teaching, evidenced by experience in conducting classes in the fields of data analysis, databases, numerical and statistical methods, as well as completion of a teaching improvement course.
  • Knowledge of English at the level of at least B-2,
  • Knowledge of the Polish language to the extent that it allows:
    • communicating with members of the research teams,
    • presentation of progress at symposia, meetings and scientific conferences,
    • to prepare teaching materials (instructions, scripts),
    • to conduct teaching activities (laboratories, lectures), 
    • candidates who are not Polish citizens should attach a certificate of knowledge of the Polish language at the level of at least C-1.
  • Authorship or co-authorship of at least one article in an Impact Factor journal as a first author.
  • Presentation of at least one paper at an international scientific conference.
  • Participation in a research grant related to the discipline of automation, electronics, electrical engineering, and space technologies.
  • A person may become a candidate if they meet the following requirements set forth in the Law on Higher Education:

  • has the qualifications specified in the Law,
  • has full legal capacity,
  • has not been punished by a final court judgment for an intentional crime,
  • enjoys full public rights.
