Offer Description

The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements specified in art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, consolidated text, item 1571) and meet the following qualification criteria: 
1) having a doctoral degree in medical and health sciences or a doctorate in humanities, 
2) having a master's degree in dietetics or a master's degree in public health, 
3) having scientific publications in the field of health promotion, health education, public health, 
4) having documented academic experience in conducting classes in the following subjects: health promotion, health education, health prevention and promotion, public health, planning therapeutic diets, nutrition in metabolic and endocrine diseases, health education methodology.

In the case of a foreign candidate, fluency in Polish in speech and writing is required. 

Employment of an academic teacher in a group of teaching staff on the basis of a fixed-term employment contract, full-time, in the summer semester of the academic year 2024/2025, from 25.03.2025 to 31.07.2025. 

Scope of duties:
- implementation of teaching classes in the amount of full-time (120) hours of pensum in full-time studies, 
- own professional development, participation in conducting scientific activities, 
- organizational work for the University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, in particular at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Specific Requirements

Candidates entering the competition are required to submit the following documents: 
1) job application, 
2) declaration on the processing of personal data (Annex 1), 
3) personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment (Annex 2), 
4) CV, 
5) copies (photocopies) of diplomas confirming education (originals for inspection before signing the contract), 
6) documents confirming professional experience, 
7) declaration on fulfilling the requirements of art. 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Annex 3), 
8) copies of certificates, additional certificates, 
9) declaration on receiving information on the internal procedure for reporting violations of the law and taking follow-up actions at ANS in Nowy Sącz (Annex 4).

Selection process

Documents must be signed by hand or provided with a certified electronic signature. 

Documents should be submitted: 
- in person or sent to the address of the University: Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, ul. Staszica 1, 33-300 Nowy Sącz, General Secretariat, room 01. The envelope should be marked with: "Konkurs nr 2 na stanowisko wykładowcy na WLZ"

The deadline for submitting documents is 21.03.2025 (the date of receipt of the documents at the seat of the University is decisive). 

The competition will be decided by 24/03/2025. Information about its result and justification will be made available in the University's Public Information Bulletin and on the website of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.

 

Additional comments

The competition committee reserves the right to conduct an interview with candidates who meet the required qualification criteria. 

Applications that do not meet the formal requirements and those submitted after the deadline will not be considered. 

The competition process may be invalidated without giving a reason. The result of the competition is not tantamount to employing the candidate, but is a recommendation in this regard for the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
