Application requirements:

  • Document attesting the award of title of professor in sociology
  • cover letter (500-700 words, in English);
  • curriculum vitae (CV) with the following points:
    • work history (former and current employment, research project completed,
    • participation in scientific conferences,
  • list of scientific publications 

    •  

     Job tasks: 

     

    -- Theoretical and empirical studies on the relationship between state, economy and society, the social legitimacy of political and economic systems, and the role of historical and cultural legacies in contemporary societies in the context of institutional studies on political, economic and social change in Central and Eastern Europe

    -- preparation of scientific publications also in English in peer reviewed journals and an international publishing house listed by the Polish Ministry of Education and Research;

    -- presentation of research results at Polish as well as at international conferences;

    The competition will run in two stages. In the first stage, the Contest Commission will pre-evaluate the candidates on the basis of the submitted documents. The highest rated candidates will be invited to an interview, which is the second stage of the competition.
