Student Coordinator - Admission & Enrolment

Coordinate the admission & enrolment process for your own portfolio of prospective students. 

Mō te tūka | The role

Seeking applications for an efficient and experienced administrator, who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will be responsible for guiding students through the admission and enrolment process, ensuring fair and consistent application assessments while maintaining the integrity of university policies. You will provide expert advice, manage student records, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the student experience.

Key tasks of the role include:

  • Assess admission applications, evaluating domestic and international qualifications and ensuring compliance with university policies.
  • Provide clear and professional advice to students on enrolment, course selection, and university regulations.
  • Maintain accurate student records in the student management system and CRM, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve appeals or enrolment issues, collaborating with faculty and other teams as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements and projects that enhance efficiency and student success.

Permanent role, 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE) at our Lincoln Campus. Salary: $64,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role

You will have:

  • A university degree or working towards a relevant tertiary qualification i.e. Business Administration or Computing.
  • Administrative experience with ability to manage information with a high level of accuracy
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Fluency in a European language (i.e. German, French or Russian) would be an advantage.
  • Ability to organise workloads effectively.
  • A friendly, empathetic manner - able to put students at ease and work well with other staff.
  • Alignment with Manaakitaka and Lincoln University values.
