Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We have an amazing opportunity for a talented and passionate individual, looking for their next challenge in tertiary sport, to be involved in shaping the future of AUT Sport. As one of our Sports Development Advisors, you will be responsible for the coordination of sports events and AUT sports teams within the community and around New Zealand.  We pride ourselves on providing our students with comradeship, fun and a sense of belonging that comes through sport, and the ability to support this is key to this role.

He kōrero mōu | About you

You will have;

  • a sound understanding of university sports events, sports event coordination, competitive sports administration, and team sport culture.
  • experience with event delivery, ideally within the sports sector.
  • a sound understanding of social media and marketing delivery.
  • an energetic, flexible, agile, and engaging approach to your work.
  • experience in netball and or football would be beneficial.

Salary Range: $73,000 - $78,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
