Āu Mahi | What you will do
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic administratorto join our Fees and Compliance team for 14 months, Fixed Term to cover parental leave! If you thrive on precision, have a positive team spirit, and proven financial expertise within a large or highly regulated environment, then this role is for you. As a dynamic professional in the Student Registry Palmerston North team, you will provide student-focused service and guidance regarding student aid programmes, educational funding options and support throughout the student journey from initial enquiry to completion. You will provide support to the International Aid Specialists who coordinate and comply with the funding requirements of International Aid Scholarships. These comprise of the United States Financial Aid including private loans, Canadian Aid, United States Veterans Education Benefits, and the Education New Zealand/Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship Programme (MNZSP) and related government agencies.

To be successful in appointment, you will have a commitment to tangata whenuatanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi partnership in Aotearoa as well as understand and recognise the status of tangata whenua in Aotearoa and an ability to practise and develop the use of te reo and tikanga Māori.
You must have a proven track record in finance and analysis, along with the ability for delivering high-quality, prompt, efficient, and personalised service to our valued customers. Experience in scholarship and international aid support is an advantage. Familiarity with the New Zealand tertiary education environment is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate level or above is a must.
Qualifications and Salary: A relevant tertiary qualification at the bachelor's degree level or above is preferred. The salary band for this position is $48,596 - $71,024 (2024), based on skills and experience.
