* Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Due to the retirement of one of our faculty members in the Department of Education, Educational Psychology, we are now accepting applications for a full-time faculty position. As described in the job description below, we are seeking an individual with advanced expertise in special support education and psychology of children and persons with disabilities, as well as the ability to teach courses related to special support education and courses related to certification as a licensed psychologist.

[Work content and job description]
(1) Lectures, exercises, practical training, etc. related to psychology of children and persons with disabilities in the Department of Education, Faculty of Education, Educational Psychology Course.
(2) Lectures, practical training, research guidance, etc. at the Graduate School of Education, Division of School Education.
(3) Lectures and practical training in teaching subjects (especially, coordination of care experience training), etc. in teaching subjects (especially, Special Needs School Teacher's License No. 1).
(4) Lectures, practical training, etc. in subjects related to the qualification of certified psychologists.
(5) Educational and research activities other than teaching, and duties associated with the operation of faculty of Education and Integrated Arts and Science and the University.

Contract period description:In the case of tenure-track faculty members, the term of office is three years. After the expiration of the term, the tenure-track faculty member may be reappointed for a period not exceeding two years. However, the total period of tenure as a tenure-track faculty member cannot exceed seven years. The review process for reappointment as a tenure-track faculty member or change of status to a full-time faculty member shall be in accordance with the regulations of the University and the internal rules of the Faculty of Education and Integrated Science and Technology. The details of the review outline will be notified after the employment decision is made. Whether a candidate is a full-time faculty member or a tenure-track faculty member will be determined comprehensively based on his/her research and teaching achievements, and will be announced after approval by the Faculty Council.　（Continue on 4.Supplementary explanation of compensation)

（Continue from 3.Contract period of Lecturer level) Regardless of qualifications, there is a limit to the duration of a continuing employment contract if the applicant has had an employment contract with the University since April 2013 and has not had an employment contract for a period of six months or more, in principle, before the date of employment through this recruitment. Therefore, the above may not be met with respect to the duration of the contract and the existence and duration of reappointment. In addition, depending on the duration of the continuous employment contract, the applicant may not be included in the selection process for this qualification.
