Shiga University consists of three faculties: Economics, Data Science, and Education, along with their respective graduate schools. The university’s fundamental philosophy is to contribute to the sustainable development of humanity and society by nurturing highly specialized professionals with rich humanity and a global perspective, and by challenging creative academic research. The Faculty of Economics, together with the Faculty of Data Science located on the same Hikone campus, is also engaged in new interdisciplinary research and education aimed at driving social transformation towards Society 5.0.

[Work content and job description]
Working 2 or 3 days a week, primarily responsible for (1) below, but may also perform tasks related to (2), (3), and (4) as needed.
(1) Responsible for teaching English courses in Hikone Campus (10 to 14 courses, each with 15 sessions, per academic year. The number of courses will be determined through consultation, taking into account the workdays, the characteristics of the courses and our requirements.).
(2) Tasks related to the ‘Business Insight Program based on New Comprehensive Knowledge through Data, Arts, and International Collaboration,’ adopted by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
(3) Duties related to supporting students learning English.
(4) Entrance examination duties and other responsibilities as a university faculty member.

Lecture level : 240,000 yen/month

・Only commuting allowance and entrance examination allowance will be provided. Bonuses and retirement allowances will not be provided.
