The Graduate School of Dentistry at Osaka University launches an AI Research Unit to promote AI (Artificial Intelligence)-based research in dentistry and oral science. We seek candidates for the position of Professor of the AI Research Unit. The professor will lead the AI Research Unit, conducting AI-based research and its associated educational programs in collaboration with relevant departments and research units at the Graduate School of Dentistry. The professor is also expected to join the Center for Innovative Dentistry at the Graduate School of Dentistry to facilitate collaboration among industry, academia, and government, as well as co-creation between society and academia in AI-based dentistry and oral science. We seek candidates who will demonstrate unique and distinguished abilities in AI-based research in dentistry and oral science, conduct outstanding research projects, and engage in education and administrative activities with great insight and passion.
